The Port of Ramsgate is located in the Isle of Thanet in east Kent. A popular 19th English seaside town, with history going back 100's of years including Ramsgate's membership of the ancient confederation of Cinque ports.
Ramsgate is a busy maritime centre, with the Royal harbour Marina, cross channel ferries, and home to the East Kent Maritime Trust. The main industries now are tourism and fishing.
