East Riding of Yorkshire, England, UK Shore

The East Yorkshire Heritage coast is extremely varied and dramatic, including the stunning scenery of stacks, arches and caves at Flamborough Head, the enormous chalk cliffs of Thornwick Bay, and the shifting dunes of Spurn Point. Spurn National Nature Reserve is an ever changing three mile stretch of sand and shingle famous for the thousands of migrating birds to be found there each year. The Humber Estuary area and East Yorkshire Coast also offer a range of medieval features such as the settlement remains at Rolston and Wilsthorpe.

There are many Blue Flag beaches along the East Yorkshire Coast including the Bridlington North and South beaches, Withernsea beach, and Hornsea beach. Bridlington is a popular tourist resort with its traditional beachfront amusements and sandy beaches.
